    Open to any and all orchestra musicians looking to continue playing through the summer. Open rehearsal is open on July 21st to those who want to begin playing an orchestral instrument. Regular rehearsal sessions: June 2, 9, 16 and July 7, 14, 21. Please register before the sessions.

  3. Mesquite Community Theatre presents "Dixie Swim Club"

    June 22, 2018 - June 24, 2018 @ Mesquite Arts Center Black Box Theatre

    A hilarious and touching comedy about lifelong friends. "The Dixie Swim Club" is a story about five unforgettable women whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, relying on one another to get through the challenges that life flings at them throughout the years. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m.; Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Performances are June 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23 at 8:00 PM and June 10, 17, 24 at 2:30 PM.   1. Movies in the Park

    Mesquite Parks and Recreation invites you to Movies in the Park. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to experience movie watching in the great outdoors. This is a free family event. Pre-show entertainment begins at 7 p.m. Pre-show entertainment will also include music, dancing & games. The movies will begin at dusk. Patrons are encouraged to bring their picnic baskets, lawn chairs, and blankets. The Concession Stand will offer many treats including hot items such as hot dogs, nachos and sandwiches. Drinks and snacks will also be served. Prices will range from $4 and under.
