They commit her to a “sanatorium” where the inmates display a kindness and affection that she has not experienced in the outside world. Complications ensue when she decides she wants to stay.

  2. World Gay Rodeo Finals presented by the International Gay Rodeo

    The best of gay rodeo is coming to Texas for the 32nd World Gay Rodeo Finals® the weekend of October 25-28, 2018 at renowned Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, Texas. The Finals, preeminent among the ten gay rodeos sanctioned this year by the International Gay Rodeo Association (a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization), will feature over one hundred of the top performing men and women contestants nationwide as they compete against their peers in eleven traditional rodeo events plus three light-hearted, yet fiercely competitive “camp events” the likes of which are only to be seen at the gay rodeo.

    The MarketPlace is a European Style Market with local produce, food, and artisan/craftsman vendors. The MarketPlace is located in Historic Downtown Mesquite in the Downtown Square between Main & Davis every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month starting in April through October, from 9 am - 2 pm. Museum Hours are are from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tues. through Fri. Be sure to note the unique painted ceilings! Tours also available by appointment. Fourth Saturday fees are $3 each, no more than $8 per family.
