An installation of mixed media work and wall installations by Dallas artist and designer Will Heron. Heron’s exhibit will feature a pop-up shop with t-shirts, stickers, and prints for sale during the opening reception. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday; weekends by appointment.

This outdoor festival is hosted by The Arts Collective and is launching the Literary and Fine Arts Festival at Eastfield College. Open to the public, it features family-friendly activities including an outdoor ballet barre (a ballet class), mask-making stations, and a pop-up art shop and gallery exhibition featuring work from Will Heron, a collaborative mural, a live ceramics demonstation, karaoke and performances from the guitar ensemble and jazz students. Horses, bands, and floats will wind through downtown Mesquite during the 60th annual Mesquite Rodeo Parade on April 1, beginning at 10 a.m. The Rodeo Parade is a community wide event bringing together civic clubs, churches, community groups, sports teams and schools. The parade will follow its traditional route starting on Belt Line at Newsom, proceeding through downtown Mesquite and ending on Galloway Avenue at New Market. The 2017 Theme is Celebrating 60 Years.
