Come enjoy an exhibit of Fables and Folklore with works by artist J. Gibson Estes. This exhibit features artwork that tells our forgotten stories and the myths that have shaped our religions, histories, and languages – making us who we are today. Main Gallery at the Mesquite Arts Center. The gallery is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and during performances.

Mesquite Community Theatre presents "The Mystery of Irma Vep - A Penny Dreadful," by Charles Ludlum. This spoof of Gothic melodramas is a quick change marathon in which two actors play all the roles. A sympathetic werewolf, a vampire and an Egyptian princess brought to life when her tomb is opened make this a comedy perfect for the Halloween season.

The AT5K is all about having a great time and making great memories with friends in the community. There are no winners, no timing, no awards, just a lot of color and fun. Each participant will be a blank canvas at the starting line, and will be transformed into a colorful collage. The race benefits the Mesquite ISD Education Foundation.
