  1. Just Between Friends Fall Consignment Sale

    September 21, 2017 - September 24, 2017 @ Mesquite Exhibit Hall at Rodeo Center

    Just Between Friends returns with their very popular consignment sale for children and maternity items, including clothing, toys, baby equipment, furniture, books, videos, and more. Sale begins on Thursday, ends on Sunday. Thursday $3 admission, Friday through Sunday free admission; Sunday is half-price day. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm, Thursday and Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm on Friday and noon to 6 pm on Sunday. More details available on website.

  2. Marketplace Mesquite -- Artisans' and Farmer's Market

    The MarketPlace is a European Style Market with local produce, food, and artisan/craftsman vendors. The MarketPlace is located in Historic Downtown Mesquite in the Downtown Square between Main & Davis every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month starting in April through October, from 9 am - 2 pm.   3. Opal Lawrence Historical Park Tours

    Presented by Historic Mesquite, Inc. Tours of the beautiful S.D. Lawrence home, located in Opal Lawrence Historical Park, are from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tues. and Wed., and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 4th Saturday of the month. Be sure to note the unique painted ceilings! Tours also available by appointment. Fourth Saturday fees are $3 each, no more than $8 per family.

This year's theme is "ReadPlayTalk" and you'll find plenty of booths with great food, prizes, freebies and fun.     Don't miss the toughest cowboys around as they compete with the strongest horses, steers and bulls in the country! This world-famous rodeo has been thrilling visitors since 1958. You'll see calf-roping, barrel racing, bronc busting, bull riding -- all of the traditional rodeo events, in AIR-CONDITIONED comfort. Every Saturday night from July 8 through September 30. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy the Fan Zone with children's activities on the rodeo floor from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Gift shop, concessions including delicious BBQ by Eddie Deen.
